Spare Partners with Tabadulat to Enable Pay By Bank Funding for Investment Accounts

Tabadulat x Spare

UAE – Aug 12, 2026 —Spare, a leading Open Finance infrastructure provider, today announced a strategic partnership with Tabadulat, a UAE-based online brokerage offering Shariah-compliant investment products, to integrate its Pay-by-Bank solution into the brokerage's investment platform.

The partnership marks another step in extending Open Finance beyond traditional payment use cases and into trading and investment accounts, enabling investment platforms to offer faster, more efficient funding experiences through regulated account-to-account payments.

Through the integration, investors can move money between their bank and investment accounts using regulated Open Finance payment rails, replacing traditional card-based funding. The solution simplifies how investors move money instantly into and out of their brokerage accounts while reducing payment costs for Tabadulat and its customers.

Pay by Bank enables near real-time deposits and withdrawals, giving investors faster access to capital and allowing them to respond more quickly to time-sensitive market opportunities.

Spare's infrastructure strengthens compliance for digital investment platforms by verifying that deposit and withdrawal bank accounts match a customer's verified identity. This reduces fraud risk while supporting regulatory requirements around verified sources of funds. The infrastructure also enables regulated financial institutions and fintech platforms to securely initiate account-to-account (A2A) payments through a single API integration, eliminating the complexity of managing multiple banking integrations.

Dalal AlRayes, Co-founder and CEO of Spare, said: "We're seeing Open Finance move beyond traditional payment use cases into wealth, trading, and digital asset platforms. Pay by bank can improve the funding experience where speed and verified source of funds matter. Our partnership with Tabadulat marks an important milestone in bringing Open Finance to the investment journey."

Samy Mohamad, Co-founder of Tabadulat, said: At Tabadulat, we want the journey from deciding to invest to putting your money to work to be as simple and efficient as possible. Integrating Spare’s Pay by Bank infrastructure will help our investors move funds directly between their bank and investment accounts with greater speed and ease, while strengthening the safeguards behind every transaction.”

The partnership comes as account-to-account payments continue to gain momentum in the UAE. According to Mastercard's New Payments Index, 83% of UAE consumers using account-to-account payments have maintained or increased their usage over the past year, reflecting growing demand for faster, more seamless alternatives to traditional payment methods.
